I had a problem with my HTC Touch Pro 2 Light background. For some reason that happens after I leave the phone charging at night when you press the button backlight turns off the backlight, but for some reason, when you press the backlight again. The screen does not light. When I drag my keyboard lights up the screen, yet not be displayed. Is it software or hardware problem?Everyone has the same problem and the solution to this problem?

I have the same problem from time to time after updating to WinMo 6.5 and interface Touch sense ...and I think it has something to do with the subject of the mail.if the email application is blocked, and the backlight turns off the phone ...not return until the application works again.Normally, if you hold the backlight button repeatedly to return.(also back on if you receive a new message or phone call).I realized the issue when I upgraded, and had not had the problem again until last week.I was told by HTC to make a flip reflashing the new ROM I did today.I'll let you know if I still have the problem.

Finally, another person with the same problem! The first thing I did when I got the phone has been upgraded, and have had this problem every day for a week ...It almost made me once late for work because he did not so much that after the alarm! It was very embarrassing at work when the NED to maintain an Excel spreadsheet open at all times to enter data ....immense pain, I was afraid to turn it off!HTC told me to reflash too ....not helpful for you?
For info, my solution is to have my BT headset in hand, will be activated if you activate voice dialing ...first time I had to ask who was next to me to call my phone, really bad!

I still have problems with mine, even after WM 6.5 update. At some point, the backlight does not turn again to all, and would connect the charger for the backlight to go.

It seems that the reflash helped but not 100 percent ...Sometimes I press the backlight button 2 or 3 times before turning the ...but nothing too serious and that does not happen all the time.I read on some forums that if you reflash, you must ....reflash, then right after, do a hard reset?I know exactly what the logic of doing this is ...but whatevs

It seems that I am not alone with this ** bleep **!
I recently upgraded my HTC TP2 to WM 6.5 and it was great - for 2 days until I hit the backlight failure!SBP Mobile Shell, I could be the culprit, or maybe I downloaded from Windows Apps Market Place.I thought I was watching a bad virus. When was forced to remove the battery, Touha MS Pro 2 SBP starts directly after turning on again. When switched to the new Touch Flo user interface, the screen was totally unresponsive (or frozen).I have made the results a couple of times and them. Finally I gave up and left in MS NOT TP2 screen work. After a 1 hour or two, the dreaded backlight issue once again showed his uglyhead! So I did a "Clear Storage" in my memory and start from scratch.
It was - 2 days!- From memory to restore the default and the Touch Pro 2 works correctly. When it seemed safe, I turned on the GPS and Apps had been installed before: Win market, Facebook, free, Shazam 'Assoc.Press News Mobile Glympse, VZ Navigator, Spb Brain Evolution, and Free Vegas Pool."However, SBP Mobile Shell installed. I customizzed my phone last night with my applications and settings and let the load during the night. I got up this morning and Wham! Backlight failure
I am really surprised that there is a fix for this purpose.Makes me think he would have gone with the demon of evil which is AT & T and get an iPhone.I can always count on the Windows on Mac products? Not!

I got my Touch Pro 2 for 2 weeks.I went to 3 phones and spent almost 6 hours on the phone with support for Verizon's high-tech.Verzoni gave me a high point each time I call with a problem. The first time I did not even have the phone 3 days and wanted to replace a certificate as the new phone.I ordered a new one.My problem is that many of the major problems is the backlight turns off and when you want to check again that may or may not turn again. This is a major problem if you need to make a call or something. You must remove the battery and return in What a hassle. The battery life is very limited. You must ensure that applications are turned off to save battery life.I still have trouble getting my several email accounts configured.Yahoo accounts are. They will not let me create new ones, because the phone is locked to try to get all emails from my server.I do not know if this problem is a Yahoo or HTC, also its biggest problem.According to information I read on this site only, and not its value to take this phone. There are more problems than benefits.Every time I ask the representatives of Verizon, say they have not heard of problems.I have another week to decide if I want to keep the phone or change it with another model. After that, you can obtain a certificate as a new HTC Touch Pro 2.Not just because Verizon knows clearly that there are major problems with the phone.Another phone that woudn't recommend the Verizon Hub.If this phone for 8 months, with a heap of trouble.Verizon finally had to withdraw from the market in Nice in time, I charged $ 175 early cancellation fee to exit the contract. When a lawyer if necessary.Clearly a business problem, and do not accept the problem and assist clients, the client alone and contemplate the deaths ** bleep ** OFF until you leave the company
